Estero is leveling up. If you have driven near Estero High School lately, you have probably noticed the major construction project underway. Say hello to the Village Center Hub SportsPark — a 100-acre complex that is about to change how our community eats, plays and gathers.

With Phase 1 infrastructure on schedule to wrap up in December 2026, the real excitement is just around the corner. Whether you are a devoted pickleballer, an avid golfer, or simply looking for the ultimate weekend family outing, this place has your name on it.

Here is an updated look at everything coming to Estero's new playground.

High 5 Entertainment: Opening May 2027

Expected to open in May 2027, High 5 is bringing an impressive lineup of indoor and outdoor fun:

    • Pickleball: 21 total courts — 6 indoor and 15 outdoor — including a "cosmic" neon pickleball experience for special events.
    • Bowling and arcades: 16 full-size bowling lanes, a state-of-the-art VR arcade and immersive laser tag — the perfect rainy-day escape.
    • Mini-golf: Not one but two 18-hole miniature golf courses, 36 holes in all.
    • Food, drinks and sports: An indoor/outdoor restaurant with a true scratch kitchen and craft cocktails, anchored by a massive outdoor digital video wall so you never miss the big game.

Bonus: The Village is working on a benefits and discount program just for Estero residents.

    The New Golf Performance Center

Golfers, take note. The Hub will also feature a Golf Performance Center designed to sharpen your game and offer a great social setting:

    • 25 hitting bays overlooking a full run-out driving range with advanced tracer technology.
    • A dedicated short game practice area and an indoor simulator.
    • A signature golf-themed sports bar and restaurant for relaxing after a few buckets.

Phase 2: An Outdoor Community Campus (Completing January 2028)

While the entertainment venues will be buzzing by mid-2027, the surrounding SportsPark is being built into a year-round destination for athletes and families, with full completion scheduled for January 2028:

    • Turf flex-fields: Two new turfed fields that can host long-field sports like soccer and lacrosse as well as baseball and softball.
    • Community gathering spaces: A sprawling event lawn for festivals and picnics, winding walking trails, a pavilion and two restroom buildings.

    The Countdown Is On

The Village Center Hub SportsPark is more than a recreation center — it is a new heartbeat for Estero. With High 5 gearing up for a May 2027 opening and the Golf Performance Center on the horizon, we are just months away from experiencing it all.

For buyers weighing Estero and Bonita Springs golf communities, it is one more reason this corner of Southwest Florida keeps getting better. If you would like to talk about which neighborhoods sit closest to the new Hub, reach out anytime.
